MIAS (Mountain Bike Instructors Award Scheme) is a UK based mountain bike instructor qualification scheme that has been around for over 30 years. It was started in 1989 and has now qualified over 28,000 instructors who work all over the world. A link to the MIAS UK website can be found here. There are 3 levels of mountain bike leader/instructor qualification, each progressively qualifying you to teach & lead to a higher level. MIAS international has Tutors in iconic mountain bike locations offering the 3 levels of MIAS MTB Leader awards. The MIAS qualification is used internationally all over the world, but you must check with each country what level of qualification is required to legally work. Sometimes this can even vary between departments in countries. Please check with your local government about any specific requirements for your region. For example, in France you must, by law, hold a Carte Pro to practice which needs to be applied for to the ministry of sport.
