Tell us about your mtb career/business?
Started riding when I was a kid and, after an extensive education path, I was able to turn my passion into my profession. I entered the professional guiding world in 2015 and soon after built up my business which operates in the Ligurian Riviera, Italian Alps and specializes in building custom tours all over the Europe. At MTB Guide XP we believe that at the heart of a great ride are great mountain bike guides. Our approach is way more than "I lead, you follow”; instead we aim to inspire and educate, to help through the whole process towards better riding and education.
Tell us about your location?
The main location we operate in is the Finale Outdoor Region. With more than three decades developing the riding scene, and a huge selection and variety of trails, Finale offers everything for skills, navigation, fitness and guiding development. Furthermore, after hosting the EWS and EDR every year since 2013, Finale can offer an amazing deal of infrastructure and possibilities. We are lucky we have the perfect match of mainly great weather, the sea and wonderful trails. What is better than that?
Why is your location a great place to come for a MIAS course?
With the trails, mountains, sea, lifestyle, and massive history, no better place can be chosen for a course like this. Not only Finale caters for any riding level but can both be challenging and easy for each aspect of such a course: from navigation to skills development to guiding variety. The Finale Outdoor Region is the best training ground to improve your guiding abilities or simply starting getting the ropes of your future role.
What do you do when your not mountain biking?
One way or another, my life revolves around biking, HA! Love sports in general so skiing, swimming, hiking are some of the side activities but I've been in the racing organizing business for some years now and I split my year among course design, race organization, hosting race/safety-related courses for the Italian Federation of Cycling and I work for the World Cup following the races as a Sport Coordinator.
