Tell us about your mtb career/business?
Having spent most of my life on bikes; racing, trail building, access advocacy, transport policy and most importantly playing, I began Alpine MTB guiding with Bike Verbier in 2018 and haven't looked back since. I now run AlpineflowMTB out of MY base in Chamonix Mont-Blanc and work all over the Alps.
Tell us about your location?
Chamonix is, well, Chamonix! Famous the world over for any number of extreme mountain sports, it's also home to some of the best biking in the Alps, and definitely some of the best backdrops. Even better, with trails at altitudes from 600 to 2600m and bike lifts running from June to October, you are almost guaranteed to get great riding conditions.
Why is your location a great place to come for a MIAS course?
With trails for every standard of rider, accessible almost year round, great accommodation and food options and easy access by train, car or plane, Chamonix is an excellent venue for your MIAS course, and the perfect location for a few days riding either side if you want to extend your trip.
What do you do when your not mountain biking?
There's more to life than bikes*... Living in Chamonix means it's almost obligatory to ski, climb and run in whatever free time you have left.
